Honors and Awards Spring 2004

On Saturday, April 3, at 1:00 pm, the Department held its annual Honors and Awards Day ceremony in recognition of our outstanding undergraduate majors. The recipients and their awards are as follows:

Mathematical Sciences Freshman Award

Given to recognize and encourage outstanding freshmen Mathematical Sciences majors. The award consists of a certificate and a check.

Alice Gray Fulmer Award

Given to sophomores with the highest GPR majoring in Mathematical Sciences. The award consists of a certificate and a check.

Sue King Dunkle Award

Given to recognize outstanding performance as a sophomore Mathematical Sciences major. The award consists of a certificate and a check.

• Lauren Lang

John Charles Harden Award

Given to recognize outstanding performance as a junior Mathematical Sciences major. The award consists of a certificate and a check.

Given to outstanding graduating seniors in Mathematical Sciences. The award consists of a certificate and a check.

The Samuel Manner Martin Awards to Megan and Rhett were also presented at the COES ceremony which followed at 2:00 pm in Bracket Hall Auditorium.
