Professional Interests:
My professional interests include applications of statistical techniques to biological processes (biostatistics), applying computational statistical techniques to solving theoretical problems (statistical simulation),and development of statistical techniques for solving problems in categorical data analysis. My professional interests also include, furthering the connections and interactions of Clemson University faculty members with schools districts and increasing the interaction between the University s STEM faculty members with funding agencies to increase the resources necessary for educational program development.

Professional Activities:
Director of the Center of Excellence in Mathematics and Science Education. My professional activities include memberships in the American Statistical Association, The Institute for Mathematical Statistics, The North Eastern American Region of the International Biometric Society, and the National Council on Teachers of Mathematics. My professional activities also include developing courses and workshops for the professional development of teachers and instructors in K-16 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education.
