Professional Interests:
Operations Research and Computer Science, with a focus on computational optimization. Areas of particular interest include: algorithm design (including parallel algorithms); large-scale linear and combinatorial optimization; methods for sparse linear systems; polyhedral theory; software tools; and models and applications in business and public systems, operations management, computer, communications, and information systems. Teaching interests include: operations research methods and applications, data structures and algorithms, logic and constraint programming, and advanced programming.

Clemson Computing and Information Technology, Cyberinfrastructure Technology Integration, research staff.

President, The COIN-OR Foundation, Inc.". Project Manager COIN-OR Open Solver Interface. The COIN-OR project develops and distributes open-source software tools for operations research. Open source promotes software reuse to enhance research productivity.
