* Anybody who gets an A (or A-) on the final exam automatically gets a
grade of an A (or an A-) in the course.
* Discussion section attendence is mandatory. You get 2 points for
being on time, and 1 point for being late. You get an A for missing no
more than 4 points, a B for missing no more than 6, a C for missing no
more than 8, and a D for missing no more than 10. Please don't ask for
getting an absence excused -- these "4 free points" ARE your excused
absenses, that everybody gets, no questions asked.
The class will not be curved. The grading breakdown is as
follows:
