For the functions:

1. f(x) = 2x + 3
2. f(x) = (x – 3)³
3. f(x) = (2 – (1 – x)²)^–1/2

• Give a numerical (table) and graphical description of the function.
• What is the range and domain of the function?
• Is the function even or odd?
• Over what intervals is the function increasing or decreasing?
• Is the function linear, a power function, polynomial, rational, or algebraic?
