DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nLevel of Siegel modular forms of degree 2 coming from the lifting \n\n\n\nRamakrishnan and Shahidi used the lifting to lift a holomorphic elliptic (non-CM) newform of weight and level to a degree 2 holomorphic Siegel modular form . I will talk about the main result from the paper by Ramakrishnan-Shahidi and mention a more streamlined proof. Moreover\, I will talk about the level of the Siegel modular form under the principal congruence subgroup\, the paramodular group\, and the Siegel congruence subgroup. The goal is to obtain detailed results about the level of the Siegel modular forms under these congruence subgroups. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n
