The core members of the PANTS consortium are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.clemson.edu\/\">Clemson University<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.sc.edu\/\">University of South Carolina<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of the PANTS meetings is to provide an opportunity for number  theorists in South Carolina, and more generally, in the Southeast, to hear  about recent research in all areas of number theory,  pure and applied. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PANTS is funded for the 2025-2026 academic year by a grant from the NSF. budget from which to provide up to $<strong>400<\/strong> for travel support to participants. If a participant is paying for another participant because of carpooling and\/or shared accommodations, then more money can be requested (see the registration form).&nbsp;Please communicate any needs to the organizers (<a href=\"mailto:huixue@clemson.edu\" data-type=\"mailto\" data-id=\"mailto:huixue@clemson.edu\">Hui Xue<\/a> or <a href=\"mailto:THORNE@math.sc.edu\" data-type=\"mailto\" data-id=\"mailto:THORNE@math.sc.edu\">Frank Thorne<\/a>), and we will see what we can do. If you wish to apply for travel reimbursement you must register no later than <strong>November 14<\/strong>. If you are not a US citizen or permanent resident you must contact <a href=\"mailto:THORNE@math.sc.edu\" data-type=\"mailto\" data-id=\"mailto:THORNE@math.sc.edu\">Frank Thorne<\/a> by <strong>November 7<\/strong> in order to receive reimbursement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Directions:<\/strong> Clemson University is located in Clemson, South Carolina. The closest major airport is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gspairport.com\/\">Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport<\/a> (GSP). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Parking:<\/strong> Parking in Clemson University requires an appropriate permit all the time. The easiest way is to purchase a <strong>$12<\/strong> Weekend Visitor Permit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clemson.edu\/campus-life\/parking\/visitors\/index.html\">here<\/a>, which is valid from 4:30pm Friday through 7:00am Monday. A parking map can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.math.clemson.edu\/numbertheory\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/CampusParkingTransitMap.pdf\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Accommodations:<\/strong> Participants should make their own hotel arrangements.
